Log-in Failed in Xbox in Asphalt 8 Airborne Game

I am facing some difficulties in Loging-in to Xbox in Asphalt 8 Airborne Game. I am using only my Windows to play the game- Asphalt 8 Airborne, I downloaded and installed from Microsoft store. But still, I could not Log-in to Xbox inside the game. Whenever I click the button"Log-in" in game, it always says,"We can't Sign you in. Please sign at xbox.com, then start this app again." But visiting to xbox.com I could not find how to log in to xbox in game. If you have a solution of this please give me.

Failure to authenticate your account on your computer is the possible reason why you're getting this error message when playing your game. Let's try to isolate this issue so that we could find a way to get this fixed. Kindly provide us the following information:

  • Are you getting this error message on other games on your computer?
  • Can you check if you can be able to sign in on the Xbox app?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you perform the troubleshooting steps below:

Solution 1: Reset the Windows Store to clear the Store cache.

  1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.          
  2. Click on Command prompt (Admin).          
  3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.          
  4. Launch the game.

Solution 2: Reset the Xbox app and Asphalt.

  1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then click the Settings icon.     
  2. Select System, and then select Apps & features.      
  3. Find the game and Xbox app, and then click on Advanced options.     
  4. Click Reset.     
  5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
  6. Sign in to Xbox app, then launch the game from there.

According to your questions,

  • I have 2 games, and there one is a shooting game, there also saying that "Play as guest as we can't sign you in". Another one is the Asphalt 8.
  • Yes, I have signed in successfully in my Xbox app but I can't sign-in in the game.
  • I have not taken any troubleshooting steps.

By Resetting the Windows store, should I have to again download and install the game?

Also, by resetting my game, should I have to again download and install the game?

Because my game's download size is approximately 4 GB, and it would be very difficult to download and install the game.

Please give the answers which I have asked above.

I appreciate your reply. You won't be needing to download or reinstall the game if you reset the Windows store cache and the game from the Settings app. Resetting the Windows Store cache will help us remove any corrupted files on the store that affects you from signing in on the app. Resetting the app from Settings page will reset corrupted game data. You can also try launching the game from the Xbox app to check if it will let you sign in automatically.
