lexmark x7300 doesn't work with windows 10

My Lexmark series x7350 does not work with my newly downloaded Windows 10. Any solutions out there?

In order to assist you better would like to ask, if you get any error message when attempt to print?

I suggest you to run the in-built Printer troubleshooter by following the steps below:

  1. Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
  2. Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
  3. Select “printer” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Seriously need some help here.  After spending another 2 wasted hours trying to fix what should be an elementary PC/software function I still cannot even install a printer nor print a piece of paper.  

Problem 1: I have a Lexmark X3700 printer.  Is it supported? Do you have a workaround? Is there a solution? It worked perfectly on Windows 8.1. Is the solution abandoning the latest and greatest Windows 10 and reverting back to Windows 8.1? Surely it is not buying a new printer.  

Problem 2: The Print spooler keeps on stopping.  I've checked on your forums and I've run the print troubleshooter, system file checker, deleted the dependency (http) on the print spooler, etc. etc. and nothing seems to work.  It doesn't even pick up the printer even though it's powered up and plugged into the PC.  

Any advice?

Similar problem with Lexmark X3650.  It worked until the latest Windows 10 automatic update in late December.  Now the computer claims it can't communicate with the printer.

I"ve done the usual check USB and change ports, check that other devices do work from the same port, powered down and restart (both printer and computer), uninstalled and let Windows re-identify and reinstall drivers, looked up the Lexmark support site and downloaded drivers for Windows 8.1 all without success.

Lexmark diagnostics claims that the files lxdxcoms.exe and lxdxwbgw.exe are being blocked.  It's not the AVG anti virus program so I'm expecting Windows 10 is taking exception but not responsibility for fixing.  I really do object to replacing a printer for Windows 10.

100% with you. Nobody is taking responsibility and it's just ridiculous that they (Lexmark and Microsoft) are 'forcing' us to replace a perfectly good printer.  If they took sustainability seriously they would prioritise these fixes.

what a painful process I have to get all my clients to buy new printers or downgrade all of them to Windows 7 or 8.  I also am going through these printer issues and cannot fix them the latest is the Lexmark x7350

I ended up paying Lexmark $79 to fix the problem. Now my Lexmark X7350 prints but only scans 1 page at a time.

I am a Realtor and have several page contracts to send out. The Windows 10 upgraded overnight and left me stranded without having to use my printer for at lease 7 days.  Windows 7-8 was just fine and now I hate to get rid of my perfectly good printer.
