lenovo yogo 2 screen won't flip back

I put a protective skin on my Lenovo 2 11.  During the process, I was turning the computer over, on its side, etc..   I accidently touched the 'on' button and immediately turned it off.   Several hours later, I turned it on only to find the screen upside down.  I think it has something to do with the accidental turning on.  I have tried the Ctrl/Alt up arrow keys,. but after a few minutes it reverts to upside down again.  Please help!

Hi Carolyn,

You Lenovo yoga 2 screen is designed to rotate the display automatically as you turn it, so that what you see on the screen is always right side up. If the display on your Surface doesn’t automatically rotate, try the following solutions in order.

Method 1: Disconnect your Lenovo yoga 2 cover and any external displays. Disconnect the Cover and any external displays to see if they are preventing your screen from auto-rotating.

If the screen still does not auto-rotate, try Solution 2.

Method 2:

Please try the screen rotation lock like indicated in the below image while on the tablet mode if it did not work try pressing it again and inform us what notification you get on the screen when you press it

If the screen still does not auto-rotate, try Solution 3.

Method 3: Install the latest updates

Installing the latest updates for your Windows 8.1, including optional updates to Windows, may help fix a rotation issue.

You can also check for updates manually. Here’s how:

Step 1: Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Settings.)

Step 2: Tap or click Change PC settings, tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Windows Update.

Step 3: Tap or click Check now.

Step 4: If there are updates available, tap or click View details.

Step 5: Tap or click to select the updates you want to install, and then tap or click Install.

You may need to restart after the updates have been installed.

If issue persist, try updating Lenovo Motion Control and motherboard chipset drivers manually from Lenovo and check if it helps:
