Lenovo Yoga Transition issue as the keyboard doesn't disable in tablet, tent or stand mode
I have a Lenovo Yoga that is fairly new, but when you fold it into tablet, tent or stand mode the keyboard doesn't disengage. I disabled Lenovo Picks and Transition on start up awhile ago, which is when I first noticed the problem. I enabled both again
and restarted my computer but it still does not register that I have my computer switched into a different mode. Has anyone else had this problem?
This issue might occur if the Embedded Controller on the laptop doesn’t work properly. The Embedded Controller controls the devices using the applications such as Lenovo Energy Management and Transition apps.
You shouldn’t remove or uninstall the transition applications and Lenovo picks. In this case, resetting the Embedded Controller might fix the issue. In order to reset the controller, you can drain out the battery and the restart the laptop. Refer to the
