No luck after attempting all of these solutions. If I switch back to desktop mode, everything functions fine. As soon as I flip Yoga into tablet or tent mode, the machine is very laggy and unresponsive. Any other ideas?
In the mean time, I'll check out the manufacturers website.
Thank you.

Similar experience for me as well.
It is amazing to me that something this impactful doesn't have a fix yet.

Hello Barry,
I understand the inconvenience you have experienced.
What troubleshooting steps did you tried?
Is your PC running with any third party Antivirus software?
I suspect that the issue might be with the incompatible drivers or some application creating conflicts. Suggest you to check for updated drivers for your device from manufacturer website and see if it cures the issue. Most probably this will fix the issue.
Moreover, ensure that your system is up to date with Windows Updates. There are lot of updates and drivers rolled out to fix the most common issues that are faced with compatibility on Windows 10. Go to Start Button/>Settings/>Update & Security/> Windows Update and check for any available updates.
Keep us posted if you require further assistance.

Hello Shankar,
Thank you for providing update.
Did you updated your PC to Windows 10 version 1511?
This is the first major update to Windows 10 rolled out for PCs and tablets on November 12. With this update, there are improvements in all aspects of the platform and experience, including thousands of partners updating their device drivers and applications for great Windows 10 compatibility. Go to Start Button/>Settings/>Update & Security/> Windows Update and check for any available updates. Install the latest Major update to see if the problem still persist.
If you already updated and problem still persist, then try to create another User Profile other than the existing one, to confirm the root cause of this issue.
* Click Start,
* Navigate to Settings/>Accounts/>Your Account/> Family & other users.
* On the right pane click Add someone else to this PC under Other users.
* If you have another Microsoft account try to use that or else follow the steps to sign-up for new and switch with new Microsoft account.
* Sign-out from the old and Login with new Microsoft account after rebooting your PC.
Once you sign-in with new User Profile, then please work around and check if the problem still persist. If the problem still persist, post your feedback using Windows Feedback app, which helps us to improve you experience.
I appreciate your cooperation in this regard.
Keep us posted if you require further assistance.

Yashwanth,
I have installed all the latest windows 10 updates including a major update this week. While that update did seem to result in a smoother environment and a little quicker speed, the same can not be said in Tablet Mode. In tablet mode this machine remains worthless.
I have no third party antivirus and I even tried logging in with another MS account. Doing so had no effect on the operation in table mode.
I am on the verge of finding a way to go back to Windows 8 at this point. I'm very disappointed and have been steering everyone I know away from Lenovo and windows 10.

Hello Barry,
Here are the steps I took to fix the issues with the screen flickering and the poor tablet mode performance:
Resolve the performance issue:
1. Update the BIOS. The latest version is available on the Lenovo site for the Yoga 2 Pro.
2. Then disable DPTF in the system BIOS. To do this, there’s a small “Novo” button next to the power button; shut the computer down and press this button with your fingernail. Make sure you save changes and exit. DPTF setting throttles the CPU in tablet mode, causing the slowness.
Resolve screen flickering issue when using the Yoga on battery:
1. Open the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel.
2. Navigate to: Power > On Battery
3. Then Disable Panel Self-Refresh.
Hope this helps, cheers!
