Lenovo Vantage toolbar not showing all options

Good day,

I am having a problem with my Lenovo Vantage toolbar.

I am a frequent user of the toolbar since I like to keep the battery conservation mode on. However my battery was unplugged for a while and I now want to switch it off so my battery can charge to around 90%.

But now there is now option to switch off the conservation mode setting.

Hi Maryn,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

In Lenovo Vantage, that setting is usually located by going to Hardware Settings - Power - Battery Charge Threshold

If you are not seeing that setting, then uninstall Lenovo Vantage and go to the support page for your laptop on the Lenovo website to download and re-install the Lenovo Vantage software.

Hi MarynDuToit

That is a different version of the Lenovo Vantage app, they must have updated it, the only thing I can suggest is working your way through the different settings available, if you cannot find that setting, then the best option is to contact Lenovo Support to ask them where they have moved that setting.

I am not able to post to their forum. Can't find the option to post.

I am royally screwed now.

So I uninstalled the vantage app but my battery still won't charge...

Hi MarynDuToit

To post to the Lenovo Forum, you must create an account on the link below, then you will have the option to create a question

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/English-Community/...

Please explain what you mean by the battery won't charge, is it not charging at all, or stopping at a certain percentage?

No sorry it is charging since I use my PC but it won't go up from 57% since conservation mode is on and I do not have the option to switch it off.

As for asking questions on the Lenovo forum, I posted my question. I didn't verify my email (which you have to ask for manually) but after I verified it I was able to post my question.

Thank you for all your help.
