latest updates KB4517389 and KB4524147

My laptop has been working fine UNTIL these last two updates were installed, now it doesn't want to boot and once it does it runs so slowly that I am seriously thinking of switching to APPLE.  What's going on here and what can I do about it?

Hi JJ,
You need to uninstall that cumulative update
Go Settings>Updates>Update History>Uninstall updates.
Then uninstall those cumulative KB4517389 and KB4524147

The last two updates are, according to what I read, part of the new build being released.  If you install them again, try turning off the Fast Startup option in case you are encountering a driver problem.

One note, when 7389 installs it should remove 4147 from the uninstall listing.  But on one of my systems, the 7389 update was the only update I have ever had to roll itself back.  The second install worked normally.

I updated my computer and it caused a Blue Screen error until i rest it with keeping files. When i went to shut it down it updated the computer again and now none of the options are working to reset my computer. I know its the update because it only caused this error after the update. Error code was 0x00021 i think which was System Status Terminated. I want to know how to fix this and get to using my PC again without the hassle of these horrifically bad updates that cause Blue Screen Errors

I also am not able to even boot into Safe Mode to uninstall the updates. This is very infuriating and this needs to be fixed. Someone please help and Microsoft needs to fix this

Uninstalling 7398 uninstalled both of the problematic updates, it's working fine n ow.  I think I will wait to reinstall to see if Microsoft figures out something better.  We have two laptops and both of them were affected.  This is nonsense.
