Laptop shuts down 2 minutes after lid is closed despite "lid closed action = do nothing"

ASUS Zephyrus G15 Laptop

I have an external monitor plugged into my laptop and I would like to use it with the lid closed. Despite having it set to do nothing when lid is closed, the laptop shuts down 2 minutes after the lid is closed.

My apologies about that. Have you set both Plugged in and On Battery mode's lid close action to both "do nothing"?

Thank you for the information. Do you also have ASUS Control center installed? If you do, please check the settings below.

-Open the ASUS Control Center or ASUS Armoury Crate (if installed).

-Check for any power management settings related to the lid close action and adjust them accordingly.
