Laptop randomly kills power on its own without warning

Recently, I had my HP ENVY 360x 2-in-1 Laptop 15-ey0xxx taken to be repaired after it started having issues. I got it back a couple days ago after 2 months without it and it worked completely fine for the first few minutes, then it with randomly shut off without a warning. No shutdown screen or Restart screen, The entire things kills power and turns off. I would have to turn it back on and sometimes it would bring me to bios then immediately to the login screen. It had this issue before repair but it was a lot for prevalent and often.

I'm glad it works but i want to know if this is a fixable problem. I've had it for 3-4 years now and I wont be able to get a new one for a couple months. I've checked up and down Event Viewer but there is no warning or error it just turns off. Even after I changed it to not automatically shutdown when detecting an error.

Is this a hardware or software issue?

Edit: I had to submit before it shut off again which it did 1-2 minutes later.

I have noticed when raising the laptop above my desk this issue stops occurring which makes me think its the fans not receiving enough air but I can go a whole day without it shutting off so I don't know if this is correlation or causation, or a coincidence.

Hello, my name is Anis. I'll be glad to help you today.

It appears to be a thermal throttling.

Please send me the minidump files, so that I can analyze the crashes.
The minidump files are located at C:\Windows\Minidump

Meanwhile, please check the CPU temperature using CPU-Z tool. (Download and install it)

Hello Anis,

Cpu temperature never spiked before crashes and always stayed in the range of 120F-180F, which is the normal range I had before the Issue began. I don't think it has anything to do with Cpu temperature since it had hit a high of 210F before without problems leading me to clean it out, But I could be wrong.

I was unable to locate the Minidump files before my laptop began to shut off again leaving me to resort to using my phone to respond. It couldn’t stay on long enough for me to locate any dump files as it kept going to Bios and the Bitlocker recovery screen before shutting off as I signed in.

Ive decided as of writing this to let it sit for a hour and come back later to see if I can retrieve any dump files.

Edit: Unable to locate any dump files, and i just noticed the laptop always displays that it is charging even whenever its not plugged in. I am starting to think its an issue with its PSU.

Are you able to enter the Safe Mode?

Steps:
Start the PC. At the Login page, press and hold the Shift key while you select Power > Restart using the mouse pointer.

The PC will boot into Windows Recovery Environment.

Once in Windows RE, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
