Laptop bluescreens after coming out of sleep mode

Hi,

For a while now I have the problem that my laptop always bluescreens right after coming out of sleep mode. Problem is, it seems the BCOD is zoomed in for some reason?, so I can't read the stop code or scan the QR code that's usually displayed. Not sure what the issue is.

In case the minidump files could help solve the problem here they are:

Since I'll need the latop for upcoming classes I'd appreciate any and all help!

Thanks and regards.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

The minidump only indicates the driver "amdkmpfd.sys" as the cause of the failures. No other drivers are mentioned.
This driver belongs to your laptop's AMD graphics adapter.

I suggest performing a clean install of the AMD graphics driver as instructed below.

Download the latest driver for your graphics card from HP's website. Then, use the free DDU tool to remove the current driver. Then, install the latest driver using the installer you downloaded.
I suggest disconnecting from the internet during the entire procedure.
(Turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect the Ethernet cable.)

DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-dr...

AMD driver download: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82001-82500/sp...
Run the downloaded EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
(For laptops, it is recommended to use the latest AMD driver provided by the laptop manufacturer.)

See if the system will work stable after this in the same situation.

If you need a tutorial for using DDU, I recommend the video below.
