After the 2004 update my blue tooth keyboard works, but my blue tooth mouse has stopped working.  I have also tried an ordinary wireless mouse and that doesn't work either. I have plugged in a wired mouse and that works.

I have connected both of the wireless mice to a different computer still on 1909 and they both work

I have since found that if I plug keyboards or mouse into the USB 3 hub they work if I use the USB 2 ports they are not working. As bluetooth on my PC is connected through the USB 2 board it might explain the difficulties with Bluetooth.

I have the same issues with a Dell Laptop.  Neither the inbuilt keyboard or touchpad mouse will work since the upgrade to 2004 version.

Thanks Krishnasu.  Have done as you suggested and, as predicted, it has reinstated the onboard keyboard and touch pad driver and they are now working fine.  I assume this a permanent fix, and that it will not keep on corrupting the driver with future updates.  Fingers crossed.

Many thanks for your assistance!

Hi. Simple answer is you need to plug in a USB wired keyboard and mouse. PC will load relevant driver for the new keyboard and work. Then use temp mouse to select driver for failed keyboard or touchpad. Restart PC and unplug temp keyboard and mouse before it boots up. It will then install fresh driver for your standard keyboard when it detects the keyboard without a driver.

hope this works for you as it did for me

Nope, didn't work at all... plus, if you try to reboot on safe mode, the keyboard does not respond and you cannot chose the options on the screen, annoying

Nope, didn't work.

And if you try to reboot the PC on safe mode, the keyboard doesn't work either, so you stuck unable to do a selection from that menu, you have to POWER OFF your PC forcibly

My PC is desktop and not notebook.

However I solved it by putting an old ps2 keyboard and going into the control panel to remove the damaged USB driver.
If I didn't have an old ps2 keyboard I was screwed.

I hope it can be useful for others.

My PC it's a desktop too. Since I only have wireless keyboard and mouse from Microsoft Designer, only the keyboard is working.

So if I try to reboot on safe mode, the screen with the options does not work because the keyboard is wireless, so I was stuck.

Tried to use a wired mouse (plugged on a USB3) didn't work either... then I tried to use a dongle with another keyboard Logitech (with mouse), didn't work either... then I tried again using a USB2 and for my surprise, the dongle worked with the Logitech and at the same time I touched the wireless mouse that was not working, and it was working and since it's working.

I think the USB connection unlocked any conflict that existed.

Thank you.
