KB4517389 and KB4524100 fail to install error code 0xd0000034

I have attempted to install these updates at least 8 times, but every time they fail to install.  Now every time I shut down or reboot my computer, they attempt to install, and I am unable to stop that.  I've already tried update troubleshoot options to no avail.  How can I stop that the updates from attempting to install?  When will MSFT issue a better update?

MichaelTusken Try looking at the discussion below.  I was having the same type of issues you were having, and the system got all screwed up.  It seems to be back to where I was before attempting the latest update.
