Is WinZip driver updater safe?

Hello , so yesterday my laptop just got scanned by WinZip Driver updater out of the blue and I updated the issues that it said I had after that every time I would try closing it a notification would pop up saying that this WinZip is working in the background. So should I be worried or what ?

No, you should never use any type of driver updater utility, they are notorious for crashing Windows 10

Your device drivers are installed automatically by Windows 10 updates, and if you need a specific driver, you should obtain that form the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website

You should uninstall that WinZip utility from your system .. .

As with all such useless "driver updater" apps, it's an obvious PUP or Potentially Unwanted Program that you allowed to install by running it's scan.

Don't ever accept anything that pops up on your PC unless you were looking specifically for it or had installed it previously after researching it carefully.  Otherwise it's always going to be a fake, ALWAYS!
