Is there a way to remove a device via cmd?

Hi all

I want to remove a device from "Devices". (See attachment)

I tried using devcon.exe remove  using device ID. The output says: it removed 1 device and the Bluetooth device is removed from >"Devices". But as soon as i refresh Device Manager the Bluetooth device comes again and is still paired with the device. A reboot might make it correct with devcon, but i dont want to reboot each time a new Bluetooth dvice has to be paired.

If I manually remove device from "Devices" , everything works fine. Is there a way to automate or use cmd to remove device from "Devices"??

Thanks

Matt

Hi BTWidi... yes you can do this using the Powershell cmdlet Disable-PnPDevice.
See link for examples and instructions.

I had already tried this option. THis one is just disabling the driver. What i need is to remove the device.

It's annoying because of plug n play always finding.
Wonder if you can create a task that runs after reboot or start up to remove the device.?

I have to pair, test and remove several devices one after the other. so a reboot each time is not at all a practical solution. :S

Ah i see... Try putting your question in the technet forums.
That might have some other suggestions... I will still see if i can think of any other solutions.
