Is there a way to hide windows 8.1 logon and welcome screen

Original Title: Hide windows 8.1 logon and welcome screen

Hi,

I am new to windows 8.1 and would like inquire if there is a way to hide windows 8.1 logon and welcome screen. I am attaching screenshots for both screens. I have already worked out the auto-logon which bypasses the logon screen. But still I see the welcome screen.

I want to hide this welcome screen completely or show another picture in place of this welcome screen. Is there any method to do it?
