Is microsoftstoreemail.com real?

I'm receiving emails saying that some incoming emails were blocked because they failed security, and we have noticed that some emails are not getting through, but this is not the normal microsoft address.

It's microsoftstoreemail.com.

Is this microsoft or no?

Thanks

No. It is fake.

If you know how, check the header of the email to get IP address of sender and than check arin.net and report it to IP abuse email address.

In fact, it's -not- fake.

The links within these emails go to login.live.com, secured and all.

I just received an email from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and it does in fact go through login.live.com.

It said I had a $5 gift card to claim, and after following the link I do indeed have $5 credit on the MS store.

So it is real, although very strange that they got another domain - gave me a scare at first.

Sending IP for the mail is not from MS - ExactTarget Inc. of Indiana.

But this is a Salesforce property...

https://www.salesforce.com/blog/2014/04/introducing-the-new-exacttarget-salesforce-integration

And MS uses Salesforce - so this is probably legit.

But it's lame. MS should not obscure the source of the emails. Complain to MS - this just supports passivity to possible phishing campaigns by others.

It's not fake, in my case.

Y follow the links and all the links go to https : // www.microsoft.com / es-mx / p / crackdown-3
Y went to microsoft.com and searched for that game and the link was the same.

So, I don't think it's a fake mail.
