I can’t absolutely find it anywhere to disable to update my bios driver. And needing to also find the recovery key. I bought this built pc and im scared I’ll be locked out if i just go ahead and update it without a key.

Some info: I have Windows 10 Home

    Hi Tarnika,

Just a quick question, are you able to log-in without updating fTPM?

Okay! Then, log in and open File Explorer, then head to "This PC" and you should see the C: drive and (if you have them) other drive letters. If any of this drives (especially C:) has a lock icon, no matter if closed or open, you should be able to right click and disable BitLocker from them.

    Does it work?

There’s no lock icon on them.

Okay, then you don't have BitLocker enabled, you can safely ipdate.
