Is Age of Empires 3 compatible with Win 10

Are the AOE games compatible with Windows 10 ?

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft community.

The Age of Empires: Castle Siege game, which is available from Windows store is compatible with Windows 10.

If you are downloading this game from the store then it is compatible with Windows 10. All the games in Windows store are compatible with Windows 10.

If you are having any issues with the Age of Empire 3 game, you may install the game in compatibility mode and check.

Please follow the below steps for the same.
a. Right click/tap twice the program setup file and select Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
b. Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
c. Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click OK.
d. Try installing the driver/software and check.

The age of empires 3 im talking about is the 3 disk game, it also has a disk for the Indians.

I think it came out when XP came out, but not sure the date.

I am have the same problem with my AofE III - it will load, then my computer goes black.  I am using windows 10

But the Game available in wimdows store is completely Shitt! why dont you make the wimdows compatible with Games?

Age of Empires II worked perfectley on Windows 7 but this is not working as you suggested, if you are going to update a system take note of other game types other wise Windows 10 is the worst since 7 prefer XP what a data base that was

You have no answer I am wasting my time Windows Ten the worst data base ever and the edge is crap to prefer windows explorer sorry Microsoft I am not wasting my time with you any longer just wish my new computer hadn't come with 10
