Iomega Zip Drive

I have the above and I'm told by others that Windows 10 will automatically recognize it as a 'disc drive.'  However, when I connect the USB to my computer, I hear the normal 'beep', but the drive is not read.  Any suggestions??
Hi Mike,
Please check is the drive is visible in Device Manager and how it is described.
Check how it is visible in Disk management.
Was this disk used with Mac or Linux computers?

It appears to be 'displaying' under the USB Controllers section, and described as "No Printer Attached."  Not surprising given that it isn't a printer.   Never used on a Mac or Linux, so answer your question.

Seems you need to install Iomega drivers. It should be as some form of storage devices.
May be other peoples already have similar drivers installed.

I was told in another forum that Windows 10 would automatically detect.  I'm sure I had drives that came with it but that was so long ago I have no idea where that disc might be and I can't find anywhere online where I might obtain a set.

In your case autodetect did not occur. May be due to influence some other driver.
Try in install driver manually from the list of all drivers.

If only I had the driver(s) for the Zip Drive, but I do not.  Any ideas where I might obtain them?

I do not have English version right now so text below is not literally correct.
Run Device manager, open properties of your Iomega drive (it does not matter how it was detected, select Driver update, on the bottom of the page click on Install drivers manually, remove mark Show compatible devices, Select Iomega in left list, select your device in right list.

Each properly installed and properly operated device should be presented in Device manager regardless of driver installation.
Your device is absent in Device manager so it is either faulty or improperly connected.
Please check carefully all devices in Device manager, may be there was different driver installed and device is mentioned under improper name.
