Interrupting playback on Bluetooth headphones connected to two sources

I have a bluetooth headphones (Sennheiser MOMENTUM M2) which are connected to my phone and my laptop at the same time. I am playing music on my phone. The problem is, that when some program on my laptop generates a sound, the playback gets paused for a short moment. I muted this program in sound mixer, but even so the playback is interrupted. I would like that my laptop would only interrupt music from my phone when I get a Skype call for example.

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

The settings that you are looking for are not available in Windows 10. However, here are few things that you can try:

Method 1:  Disable the sounds for only notifications.

  1. Right click on speaker icon on the bottom of the screen and then click on Sound settings.

  2. Then click on Sound Control Panel on the right side.

  3. Navigate to Sound tab and then click select Notifications.

  4. Select the sound as None and click on Apply.

  5. Then click on OK.

Method 2: Disable notifications.

  1. Open Windows Settings.

  2. Then click on System and then click on Notifications & actions.

  3. You can turn off the notifications on this page.

I would also encourage you to send a feedback to our developer team via Feedback hub so that they can look into it. Also check if the option is available on your phone.
