Installing windows to another drive

So my C drive is smaller than my D drive and that made storage problems for me So I wanted to install windows to D drive. To do that I did I used an usb and made it bootable. I cleaned everything from my pc then booted in to usb then did the steps like choose windows 10 home or something like I did all of those steps. When I got to the choose which disk part I delete every partion until I only had unallocateds.

So right now I have disk 0 unallocated and disk 2 unallocated. I only have those and I want it in the disk 2 so I choose it and it installed windows to that everything seemed ok. After installing it restarded. But after closing and opening again it bring me back to download screen for windows again, the place where tou choose your language your keyboard and what bit the pc is. Like it starded all over again and I tried it several times still the same ending. But when I choose the disk 0 and restarded it opens the pc normaly and ask for my account details and all that so it works when I choose disk 0 but it doesnt in disk 2. And after choosing disk 2 and trying again with it it shows me that disk 2 is partioned like for system and other things so it looks like I installed in it. But when I run the command screen and choose the one that scans the drivers for windows it says 0 windows. Like how...

Can anybody help with it please I only want it to be in d drive why doesnt it work?

Hi ecekoparal

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

After your clean installed Windows on the second drive, did you then boot into BIOS and make that drive the default boot drive, not the USB drive?

If you can boot into Windows, please open Disk Management, then resize the bottom pane, so both drives are visible in the bottom pane and provide a screenshot of that Disk Management window.

Hi ecekoparal

Okay, if you are at the screen to select the installation drive, please provide a photo of that screen, showing all drives and partitions.

Hi ecekoparal

Dies the installation seem to complete, before it loops back to the start, or does it loop back on the first restart?

Hi ecekoparal

Usually, before the installation, you need to boot into BIOS, disable Secure Boot, then set the USB as the primary boot device, then perform the installation and after the installation, boot back into BIOS, enable secure boot and set the hard drive a the primary boot device.
