Installing windows 10 Error : Windows cannot be installed to this disk.

Hello,

I'm upgrading from a hard drive to a solid state drive for my Samsung NP-r519 laptop and because the solid state drive was newly bought i decided to just install windows 10 with the media creation tool put onto my USB.

Whilst installing, i encountered a problem which was:

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.

So i looked in the BIOS and found no such option.

Included is some images of the system's BIOS and the problem

Please help.

Thank you

When you start you get to the BIOS with which key?  If you use F1 then use the F12 key to get Boot order.

You have to set your USB as the first boot item.
