Hi,

I suggest you to perform the following steps and check if it helps.
Method 1:

I suggest you to disable the antivirus if you have any on the computer and check if it helps.

Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2:

Try to install the updates in Clean Boot and check if you still face the issue.
Place the computer in clean boot and check if the issue persists. You may follow the article mentioned to perform a clean boot.

Perform a Clean Boot

Follow the instructions (Step 1 for Windows 8) given in this link to perform a clean boot:
Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps in clean boot, follow these steps to return the computer to Normal startup mode.
a) Press the ‘Windows + R’ key on the keyboard.
b) In the ‘Run’ windows type ’MSCONFIG’ and click ‘Ok’.
c) On the General tab, click the Normal Startup option, and then click ock.
d) When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.

If you face any Windows issues in future, let us know and we would be glad to assist you.

Method 2: Not tried as fail for jonasraoni

@MS technicians: I suggest you get yourself a laptop with WIndows 8 OME on it and try and install the patches yourself. Then get cracking to reprogram a new, working version, of the patches. Stop giving us the usual "have you turned your computer on" responses. Most of us asking questions on this forum have a certain level of IT know-how, but do not have the time or the wish to get into serious debugging.

So please pull your socks up and get cracking!

Thx a bunch!

Hi,

i have had the same problem on three of my Windows 8 PCs at home.
None of the steps described here solves the problem.

So i tried "sfc /scannow" with administrative rights an it found some correctible errors.
After that, the update installs fine on every Workstation.

Maybe, you have the same problem and it helps.

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.2.9200]

Vom Windows-Ressourcenschutz wurden beschädigte Dateien gefunden und erfolgreich
repariert. Weitere Informationen finden Sie in der Datei "CBS.Log" unter "windir

sfc /scannow did not help. got a different message as a result:

"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios."

no luck so far. :(

I too am encountering this problem with my month-old Microsoft Surface Pro. I ran the sfc /verifyonly command and it reported no problems at all.
