Hello, I've been trying to call the Microsoft regarding about the bitlocker recovery key, I'm using my education email for Microsoft softwares, and I just only bought my laptop which is a year plus and currently it is locked by itself and it's requiring a bitlocker recovery key which I tried to take from my education email and still it's not going through at all. I went to the laptop shop at where I bought, they told me to contact the Microsoft and get a code or worse come worse I have to reformat my whole laptop including my HARD DISKS! please say something on how to recover this issue, I tried calling the Microsoft in Malaysia, they are not answering my call. I hope someone can say something in here at least. Thank you..

I understand that your device is currently locked by BitLocker encryption.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to access or recover your data without the BitLocker recovery key. Since you are using an education email address (an organizational account), it is possible that your recovery key is linked to your organization's domain. I recommend contacting your IT administrator to check if the recovery key can be located in the Active Directory.
If the recovery key cannot be found, the only option would be to create a Windows 11 Bootable Installation Media and use it to reinstall Windows. Please note that this process will completely erase all data stored on the hard drive.
