In my task manager, i found Search (3) and SearchHost in the background.

In my task manager, i found Search (3) and SearchHost in the background. when i go to open file location, its in the MicrosoftWindows.client file. there is also Start (2) in my task manager. ive downloaded avast antivirus. and it says nothings wrong. are these programs harmful?

Search processes showing up in the Task Manager are normal. Searchapp.exe is located in Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy.

"Start" is the Start menu experience host responsible for the Start menu functionality.

There is nothing to worry about.

Thank you for the response! is also 'Windows input experience' non harmful aswell. along with 'XtuService'? i've never heard of this program.
