Importing media from iPhone 8 Plus to a Win 11 Laptop

Usually, I connect the device to the laptop and start importing. But when I try and look for the photos/videos that I want to import, it's not there. All I see inside the DCIM folder is another folder with a series of numbers, inside that folder is only one video.

Note that this is the only pathway available on the phone (iPhone > DCIM > 000211_ > "video"); other files or media are nowhere to be found

To import photos and videos from your iPhone 8 Plus to your Windows 11 laptop, you can try the following steps:

1. Make sure your iPhone is unlocked when connected to the laptop.

2. On your Windows 11 laptop, open the Photos app.

3. Connect your iPhone to your laptop using a USB cable.

4. In the Photos app, click on the Import button located at the top right corner.

5. The Photos app should automatically detect your iPhone and display the photos and videos available for import.

6. Select the photos and videos you want to import and click on the Import Selected button.

If you are still unable to see the photos and videos you want to import, you can try restarting both your iPhone and laptop and then attempt the import process again. If the issue persists, you may need to check if there are any software updates available for your iPhone or laptop that could potentially resolve the problem.
