1. Have you install all Windows update?
2. Are all the drivers updated?

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.
Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
1. Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
2. Select Troubleshooting.
3. Select View all on the top left corner.
4. Click Hardware and Devices.
5. Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.
Method 2: Ensure to install the latest camera software to check if that helps.
You may also use a card reader to check if you are able to import the photos from the SD card. Some camera required a specific software to be installed so that the import of photos can be stated from the software.
