I want to reset personalisation and appearance to factory settings

Hello Don,

Sometimes, you want to use the default settings that you were using before you started to change something. To further isolate, we'd like to clarify which specific settings in the Appearance and Personalization you want to restore back to the default settings.

If you want to return to the default colors and sounds (Themes) you may follow these steps: Open Control Panel > Open Appearance and Personalization > Select Personalization > choose Change the Theme. Then choose Windows from the Windows Default Themes section.
