I have 32gb ram, but windows 10 64bit just tells me 16gb are available and sees 32gb installed???

I have 32gb ram installed and my windows 10 pro 64bit sees it and my bios sees it, but inside it tells me that 16gb are just available. So what is the issue here??

If I take one 8gb ram out and put an 4gb ram in, it shows me more to use, but by  putting the 8 GB in and not the 4 GB, it tells me by 32gb that 16gb are just available and that the other is reserved for hardware, but if I take that 4gb one, I have 28gb and it tells me more to use, all my ram are functioning and my bios is up to date and has no defects windows is installed new with the 2020-2021 version of windows 10 pro 64bit.

I use a 8 core FX 9590 AMD processor

4x 8gb ram

graphics Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050

All normal and still good for this timeline, even we have the am4 and ryzen already, so there are no problems here. But why does that save the rest of the ram for hardware by the 64bit version by having 32gb with 4x8gb, but it does not do that by 28gb with 3x8gb and 1x4gb???????

Answer please, I need some help and that for Windows 10 Pro 64bit. Maybe Windows needs to make an update. I don't know, but I think it's an windows mistake because of the 32bit and it has a spider in as it has 64bit and the ram shows 32gb and it has something thinking about 32bit and not 32gb and twists something there and has a mistake, that would be a windows update needed for that. That's the only thing I can think about right now, with what the windows has.

You can answer in English or German, thanks!

Hi,
My name is Igor, I'm Independent Advisor. I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

The reason may be in insufficient memory bus load capability.

Please check your RAM modes (voltage, frequency, timings) are in compliance with motherboard compatibility list (QVL).

I have most on automatic and I don't really know so much of the timing of the ram.

The last one is the one I put in new and there was first this one in Image

Oh well and then this started with getting weird, I don't know what's going on, but I want it on 64bit to work out normal, so I can do my stuff normal on my computer and I don't want to do around with this subject right now, it's bothering because I want to use my computer normal and this is taking my performance.

Definitely it seems like windows 10 64bit has a problem by 32gb ram to think about 32bit version of the windows 10, otherwise there is no other reason all these steps with msconfig and maximal ram and things don't function, now this picture up here is when I have the 4gb as the last ram in and the other one is where I have the 8gb ram in and took the 4gb out, what else should it be, my Mainboard is the extreme6 AMD from asrock and I don't have a graphic on board. Surely it's a windows problem, because by the 32bit version of windows it takes ram storaged for the 32bit version, but it tells us all by the 64bit version it does not, but the moment I had 32gb in it, this started, with 28gb it does not do that and the ram are new bought and are functioning. So what now, windows needs to update something because of it.

I will leave my 28gb running now, maybe someone still can come up with an solution for it, but for now I'll run my 28gb, till I get my self 64gb ram.

32-bit Windows can use only 4GB RAM.

What are the exact models of motherboard and RAM modules?
