You cannot run multiple anti-virus apps on the same computer.

This will cause conflicts on the system.

To uninstall McAfee and Norton requires special removal tools.

You should never run two anti-virus programs. See Ronnie Vernon's
reply.

And tol add to what he says, in my opinion, and that of lots of others
of us here, both Norton and McAfee are among the worst choices of
security software available. You are much better off using Windows
Defender, which comes with Windows 8.
