I can't install games from the microsoft store.

When I trying to install Minecraft from the microsoft store and I'm asked what device I want to install it on, it states that I don't have any applicable devices attached to my microsoft account. But when I go to check for devices on my account it says that my computer is connected to my account. I've done some trouble shooting and have tried to fix the issue multiple times, but I haven't had any success and am somewhat at a loss. So if someone could help me with this I would appreciate it. Thank you.

That message usually appears when you purchased an XBOX version of the game. Can you check whether the purchased version is XBOX or Windows?

Oh, it appears that it is the xbox edition, my bad. Is there any way that I could get a refund on the xbox one or possibly get a code for the windows edittion and swap the two? I havent installed it on anything yet. Sorry for the inconvenience, I should have been looking more closely. Thank you.

Thanks for the help, but when I click "request refund" it just brings me to a page that says that it doesn't exist or it brings me to a page on setting up a family plan.
