I cant find my built-in webcam for samsung, notebook model NP-RV520-W01

  • Was it working fine earlier?

If yes, you may refer these methods:

Method1:

Try to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

a. Click on Start, in the Start search bar type device manager and then press enter.

b. At the device manager window, please check if you see the web cam, right click on the web cam and then click on uninstall.

c. Restart the computer, the web cam will be automatically installed.

d. Check if the web cam is working.

Method2:

Try to follow the steps from this link and update the drivers for your webcam and check if it helps:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isnt-working-properly

Also try to use the program that came installed with webcam and check if that works.

Ive already done both of those things... And Ive never been able to find it on my computer.. But I can use it for video chat...

I'm a bit confused. You say the camera works fine with video chat?

So, i'm guessing the camera itself works fine, but you would just like to use it without using video chat, right? If that's the case, then all you need is a software program that will do that.

Most computers come with something like that built in. Have you been able to do it in the past?

Again, I'm going to stick with the trend here and say you're best best is with Samsung. Perhaps there is a native application that Samsung or their built in webcams prefer.

Yeahh the camera works fine with video chat but I would like to use it without using video chat.. Ive never been able to use it without video chat..
 
Yess that is my computer but for some reason when i try to do the samsung support thing I cant find my computer on that list.
