    • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

    • Select Windows Update and run the troubleshooter.

  2. Use DISM Commands:

    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

    • Run the following commands one by one:

      bash

      dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
      dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    • These commands will attempt to repair the component store.

  3. Install the Update Manually:

    • Visit the Microsoft Update Catalog and search for the update (KB5055523).

    • Download the standalone installer and run it.

  4. Check for Pending Updates:

    • Ensure all previous updates are installed, as some updates depend on earlier ones.

  5. Reset Windows Update Components:

    • Run each of this following commands:

      net stop wuauserv

      net start wuauserv
      net start cryptSvc
      net start bits
      net start msiserver

  6. Perform a Repair Install:

    • Download Windows 11 > click on download now > choose language and click on 64-bit downloadImage

    • run the file and just follow the prompts

this process will take sometime and the computer will restart for a couple of times and after that you will be back on your screen and check for windows update.

Let me know if you need detailed guidance for any of these steps!

Please feel free to let me know how it goes.
