Hi, I am an Independent Advisor.
Let me help you with this issue.
I understand you are having problems with your screen getting a large white spot.
Can you see this white spot when you boot to the BIOS?
Or when the computer is starting up?
Please connect an external monitor and see if the problem transfers over to the external monitor.
Update the display driver by going to the support website of your laptop. Download the latest display driver and then install and then restart the device.

It sounds like the problem is only with the monitor. Can you connect that monitor on another computer tower?

Since the issue is isolated to the external monitor, it’s likely that the problem lies with the monitor itself rather than the desktop. First, inspect the monitor for any visible signs of physical damage, such as pressure points or dents on the screen surface. You can also try connecting the monitor using a different cable (like HDMI or DisplayPort) and to a different input port, if available, to rule out any connection issues. It might also help to reset the monitor’s settings to factory defaults through the settings menu, which is usually accessible via the buttons on the monitor. Additionally, testing for backlight bleed by using an online tool (search for "backlight bleed test") will help determine if uneven backlighting is causing the white spot, especially if it only appears on dark screens. If none of these steps resolves the issue, the monitor may need repair or replacement, and contacting the manufacturer would be ideal, especially if it’s still under warranty.
