How to stop news & interest from running in background?

Why is news and interest still running in the background even though I have disabled it from the Taskbar

in the screenshot is currently running in eco mode but that's not always the case

Open Registry: Press Windows key + R then type in:

regedit

Then hit OK

Navigate:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Feeds

Double click "ShellFeedsTaskbarViewMode" then change the Value Data to 2, restart the PC, and check.

This doesn't work for me. I simply can't add it and even if I managed to, I doubt it would've fixed it...Image

When I try to add this ShellFeedsTaskViewMode it won't allow me to add this in the registry editor.

I get this Error code.

So I am stuck with this.

I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. This happened after installing the latest Cumulative Update for Windows 10 21H2 LTSC Evaluation version.
