How to Show Desktop with Dual Monitors

I was set up with a new dual monitor system. Under my old system, when I had a remote desktop window on the main window and wanted to back to my tray on that monitor, I simply clicked somewhere in the left monitor and the main monitor showed my desktop with the tray again. But now the remote desktop stays on the main monitor when I do that. I have to minimize it to get my desktop and the tray. Is there any way to change this back to the way I had it?

Don't know if this is an OS issue, but my old system was Windows 7, and my new system is Windows 10.

Actually the title here should be "How to Show Tray on Main Monitor with Dual Monitors"

Hi,
I am Ganesh Gandhi, an Independent Advisor and Office Insider for Android. I am here to work with you on this problem.

As you need to show Tray on Main Monitor:

Kindly follow these steps.
Right click on any taskbar, then uncheck Lock all taskbars.
Move the main taskbar (the one with the system tray on it) to a screen of your choosing. You can do this by dragging the whole taskbar.
(optional) Right click on any taskbar and check Lock all taskbars again.

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

That allows me to move the tray, but that is not the issue. The issue is that when I have a remote desktop window in the main monitor, I want to be able to click anywhere in the second monitor and show the windows that are on the desktop and would normally show there is no remote desktop window in the main window.

Thanks for your help.
