How to set the laptop to wake up, when opening the lid?

Hello,

When I open my Lenovo Yoga 11S laptop, it doesn't wake up, I have to press the windows (physical) button for that.

Any idea? I would like it to wake automatically when I open the lid.

Answer

Hi,

Most laptops have the option Do nothing when the laptop lid is closed.

According to Lenovo, if the lid closed action is set to “Do nothing”, the system does not wake up by opening the lid.

I would suggest you to try to change the lid closed action to another option instead of Do nothing and check if the laptop wakes up automatically after opening the lid.

g. Click on Allow Hybrid Sleep.

h. Change the Settings to Off.

i. Click on Apply and OK.
