How to prevent files antivirus from deleting files from folder?

My antivirus (McAfee) keeps on quarantining or deleting my files from my games folder. I can't exclude all the files one by one obviously. So is there any way to prevent antivirus from accessing this folder and deleting or quarantining my files.
