how to open email attachments with "cid" prefixes ?
in a mail from Paramasivam,P <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>, received on my Yahoo mail ID. I checked in Google search, Bing, askme.com and Yahoo search; but am unable to find any information as to how to open the same. I had sent a mail to the sender himself, asking for help in this regard; but unfortunately haven't got any reply from him so far. From the rest of the mail, I can deduce that this refers to an image, with a joke about "Bumper Stickers on Senior Citizens". While this attachment may not contain any important information, I get many mails with such inline attachments from various sources, quite a few of which may be important. I am at afraid that I may be missing many essential information sent through such inline attachments. Can anybody help me as to how I can open such a ink ASAP?
As I get many such emails, on my different mail accounts, I would be extremely grateful to one and all who can help me solve this problem, at an early date.

The sender is using a format your mail program cannot open/use, namely MIME
The sender would have to send in a different msg format
Currently win11 Pro & O365 Bus, multiple devices

The CID references the image which is stored in the email message at the end and allows the program that renders the message to know where to display the image within the message. So it is not meant to be a clickable link to reference the image via the user. With most email programs one can just right click on the image and choose Save As in such messages.

NOT helpful. I get these all the time and am clueless. Nothing works to open them because there is NO IMAGE! So, exactly what do I "right click' on?
