Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.
I understand that the Copilot icon was moved from the Right corner (next to the notification icon) to the Middle of the taskbar (next to the start menu) after a System reset.
Initially, when Windows 11 and Copilot were announced, the icon was positioned at the center. However, Microsoft made a change in the recent updates, moving the position of the Copilot from the center to the right corner.
So, I recommend checking for any pending updates to download and install on your device. If there are none, consider waiting for 1 or 2 days to see if you receive the latest updates. Probably the Windows Reset might reverted to the Older version. To install the latest updates,
Go to Settings > Windows Updates > Check for updates.
• Microsoft did not provide any registry hack or settings to change the position of the Copilot. My device is running on version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3958) Windows 11 and the copilot icon is placed in the right corner. So, make sure your device is also running the same and up-to-date.
However, I have come across a discussion thread that addresses the same question and was answered by 'Rodrigo.Queiroz'. Please refer to it for more information.
