How to make my game use my new disk ?

I installed my new disk SSD on my computer, while still using my HDD, to play a game that needed a better writing and reading speed. I installed the game ON the SDD, but when I start the game it wont use the SDD so I'm still lagging.

Do you mean the SSD is a secondary disk or are you using it as the boot disk with the old HDD still present?

It's probably that windows is installed on the original disk and once it loads the games it is using page file, drivers, accessing graphics etc. using the original disk.

To speed up the system the OS should be installed on an SSD.

What is your system spec (if custom build) or the make and model.

In addition, the way to test would be to disconnect all but the new SSD and install windows. Put the game on the SSD and run it like that. You should find a lot more responsive system.
