How to install Norton on second computer?__

Hey guys!

I bought a laptop and it came with McAfee trial version, the trial ran out and my computer is vulnerable! On my stationary I have Norton installed, but I cant find any setup file and I dont think I have a disc... I do have the serial number and stuff but how to install it on my laptop??

Norton will likely want you to buy a new copy to use it on another computer (they are in business for profit, right?) 

 

Please allow me to recommend Microsoft's free antivirus and malware protection program, Microsoft Security Essentials.  You never have to pay to update it, and it never slows down your computer like those other programs can.  It's light weight and you never know its there, but it also integrates with the system well because Microsoft built it.  I recommend it to everyone I know so they don't have to pay for protection.

Get it from http://microsoft.com/security_essentials

Note, be sure to remove any existing antivirus programs before installing it, it's never good to run two at the same time.
