how to get chrome to open on search

chrome will not open when i search , i checked firewall chrome is allowed to open , i have chrome nominated to open on startup , i have chrome as default but page keeps saying cannot reach this website (chrome)

Your question is for Google; not Microsoft, as Microsoft does not make or support Chrome.

Are you searching from (Win 10 or 11) Cortana? And, that search is being done with Bing as search provider and Edge as browser?
