How to 'fix' or remove, .NET 3.5 from Win10

A legacy accounting program I need to use requires .NET 3.5.  I have Surface Pro4 & Win10.  I installed it.  BIG mistake - it has now completely messed up my even more important (and more modern) CRM.

How do I remove and/or fix, .NET 3.5 so the various programs can live together?  Thanks in advance guys, I'm a newbie.

Answer

To remove .net Framework 3.5 go to Control Panel - Programs and Features

On the left side click 'Turn Windows Features On or Off'

The first Item in the list is .net Framework 3.5

Checking the box installs the framework and unchecking it uninstalls it

Maybe trying uninstalling it, reboot and reinstalling it will fix this issue

Usually different applications target different .net frameworks and each framework does not interfere with each other

What CRM are you using, that is failing after enabling .net Framework 3.5?
