How to fix driver power state failure

I started to get driver power state failure on my PC about three weeks ago. After not being able to solve the problem I reinstalled Windows and that fixed it for a little bit but two days ago it returned and happened when I cold booted my PC. I tried reverting my RAM speeds, turning off fast boot, and reinstalling graphics drivers. Nothing has worked. When the error would appear when cold booting a bluescreen would show up but I just got the same error with no blue screen. My computer screens went black and after a few seconds the enter bios screen popped up and then it loaded back into the log-in screen. After another rabbit hole I found to download windbg and it gave me this:

I have seen similar posts and saw that people usually request the dump files so here's the link let me know if it doesn't work:

Hello Charlie d'A. and welcome to the Microsoft Community!

According to your feedback, you are experiencing a blue screen on your computer.

From the information you have uploaded, it appears that the issue is the driver failing to complete the power IRP within a specific time frame.

There is another program that triggers the blue screen issue on your computer and that is AsIO3.sys.

You can uninstall this program

Then you can try the following

1) Update drivers: Make sure all device drivers are up-to-date, especially USB controller and graphics card drivers.

You can visit the device manufacturer's official website to download the latest drivers.

2) Uninstall the problematic driver: According to your debugging information, the problem may be related to usbccgp.sys (USB Common Class Driver).

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the relevant USB device driver.

3) Disable power-saving features: Sometimes power-saving features may cause driver power state failure. You can try to disable these features:

1. Open “Device Manager”.

2. Locate the relevant device (e.g. USB controller), right click on it and select “Properties”.

3. In the Power Management tab, uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.

4. Run the System File Checker (SFC) and DISM tools: these tools can repair system files and images.

4) Open a command prompt (run as administrator), enter the following command and press Enter:

sfc /scannow

Then enter the following command and press enter:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

5) Update BIOS: Sometimes updating the BIOS can solve driver compatibility issues. You can visit the motherboard manufacturer's official website to download the latest BIOS update.

6) Disable Fastboot: The Fastboot feature may cause some driver issues. You can try to disable it:

1. Open “Control Panel” > “Power Options”.

2. Click “Select Power Button Functions”.

3. Click on “Change settings that are currently unavailable”.

4. Uncheck “Enable fast startup (recommended)” and click “Save changes”.

If none of the above methods help to solve the problem, I think you can take your computer to a repair shop.

I think you can take your computer to a repair store to check if there is a hardware problem with the power supply or a load problem!

I wish you all the best during this special season - may your holidays be merry and bright! Merry Christmas!
