how to edit photos from canon EOS 450D in windows 10

Have connected above camera by USB cable and see all the photos on the SD card.However unable to edit photos.

Also the camera cuts off from the PC frequently.

1. Which program is are you using to edit the photos?

2. Does the issue occur only when you connect other USB devices to the computer?

3. Did you connect the camera to other USB ports and check?

The issue might be occurring if your device is not properly connected or if the drivers are not properly installed.

Lets follow the below methods and see if it fixes the issue.

Method 1:

Run the hardware and device troubleshooter.

I would also suggest you to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter to troubleshoot the device:

a. Press Windows key to launch the Start screen.

b. Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes and click on Troubleshooting.

c. In the new window, click View all on the left pane.

d. In the list of options, click on Hardware and devices.

e. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2:

If all USB devices are disconnecting randomly then change the USB controller power settings.
