- Do you want to login into the user account as a Local user?
- Are you currently logging in using a Microsoft account?
Logging in using a
Microsoft account with administrator privileges will let you access all of the Windows delightful features like
Cortana (your new personal assistant), Spotlight feature, download apps and games from
Windows Store and many more on your PC.
To login as a
Local user account on the computer, convert the Microsoft user account
by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.
- Press
Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open Settings window
- Click Accounts and under Your emails and accounts, click on
sign in with a local account instead option.
- Enter your old Microsoft account's password and click on Next.
- Type in
Password, and Password Hint that you want set for your local account and click
Next. Click on Sign out and Finish button.
- Login to check if the changes are effective.
