How to Completely Uninstall/Remove Windows XP?

One week from today I was on Windows XP(Sp3). It was installed onD:\ drive. Then I got Windows 7 Ultimate. Here I done the biggest mistake, I installed it on theC:\ drive.

Now whenever I start my PC it asks to select Windows 7 or Earlier Versions of Windows .

So my question is "How can I remove Windows Xp completely from D:\ drive and free that drive for my use without any changes in my Windows 7? "

Hi,

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall Windows XP from your system:
a) Boot your system in Windows 7
b) After booting to Desktop, click on Start
c) In the search bar type Disk Management and press ENTER
d) You will have a window which will contain all the disks on your system
e) In this Window ,select ‘D :\ drive’ as you have Windows XP installed  on D:\ drive
f) Select the option Format to uninstall/delete Windows XP from D:\ drive.

Note

All the data in the D:\ Drive will be deleted once you click on Format in Disk Management. I would suggest you to back up all the important data so that you can copy it once you boot in Windows 7.
