How to change windows 10 Home edition to Home Single Language Edition?

I had the Windows 10 Home Single Language Edition installed on my HP laptop before I decided to do a repair install on it to get some corrupted windows component fixed using an Windows 10 (v1607) ISO, and without a giving much of a thought about it, I installed the Windows 10 Home Edition keeping my files and apps undeleted and everything went fine except for the activation part. It didn't get activated even after I connected it to the same Microsoft account I had previously. So I troubleshooted and it says -

"We found a Windows 10 Home Single Language digital license for this device using Windows 10 Home. To activate using this digital license, you need to install Windows 10 Single Language"

So what should I do? I already had the Windows.old folder deleted right after the instillation finished. Please help me out.

Download the Media Creation Tool Now

Right click the MediaCreationTool.exe file then click Run as administrator.

then choose Windows 10 Home Single Language during setup:

If you want to download a particular edition or both architectures, uncheck the Use the recommended option for this PC.

Click in the Edition list box, choose your edition then click Next.

Windows 10 - contains Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Education editions.
Windows 10 Home Single Language - only select this edition if you are running Windows 10 Single Language, Windows 8 Single Language or Windows 8.1 with Bing.
Windows 10 N - only select this edition if you reside in Europe, it does not contain Windows Media Player. It contains Windows 10 Home N, Windows 10 Pro N and Windows 10 Education N.
