You can use a conversion service like this one: https://pdftoimage.com/
Best part is that you can select multiple PDF files like this one. If you'd like another recommendation based on your needs, let me know. Otherwise I hope this helps.

Hi Kathy. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.
Are you scanning from the printer top? Does it give you a choice to scan certain types of files? If not this may be in the Printer's Scan settings.
Make sure you have the full software package for the model printer/scanner installed, and also the latest firmware which will greatly affect it's performance.

By the way, you should follow Greg's advice if you haven't scanned these photos yet. My piece of advice applies to you when it's done after the fact.
